The Corporation had not adequately investigated the Applicant’s noise complaints
The Applicant complained of persistent noise from the unit above him and alleged that YRSCC 1273 had failed to address the nuisance adequately. The Tribunal agreed that YRSCC 1273 had inadequately investigated the noise complaints and ordered the condominium corporation to make further investigation (beginning by meeting with the Applicant). However, the Tribunal rejected the Applicant’s request for installation of soundproofing.
