York Condominium Corporation No. 176 v. Shearer (Condominium Authority Tribunal) October 25, 2024

25/10/2024– Jurisdiction Ontario
Part 88 published on 01/12/2024
Owner violated Rule limiting the permitted size of dogs by keeping an oversized dog and permitting a visitor to bring an oversized dog onto the property.

The condominium corporation received multiple complaints about an owner who purchased a Rottweiler puppy (which would grow to exceed the allowable size in the pet Rule) and who also allowed a visitor to bring their own large dog onto the property. The Tribunal ordered that the owner comply with the pet rules.
