Expenses allocated in accordance with Strata Property Act. No oppression

The petitioner, and owner of one of the strata lots, alleged that common expenses were unfairly allocated as between the strata corporation and each of the sections.  The petitioner made various additional claims.  All of the petitioner’s claims were dismissed.  The Court’s decision included the following:

  • The allocation of expenses was in accordance with the Strata Property Act.
  • Voting issues raised by the petitioner were moot.
  • There had been no misconduct on the part of the manager of the strata corporation.

The application for appointment of an administrator was also dismissed
