Strata owner can’t sue Strata Corporation, for negligence, in Small Claims Court

In British Columbia, the Provincial Court (Small Claims Court) does not have jurisdiction to hear a claim brought by a Strata owner against the Strata Corporation for alleged negligence in the fulfillment of the Strata Corporation’s maintenance and repair responsibilities. Any such claim must be asserted in the Supreme Court.
